It all started when she was in middle school and her parents gifted her her first digital camera for Christmas one year. From then on she was taking photos of everything and anything: her anti-social cat, butterflies in her mom’s garden, her older sister playing soccer…

After graduating from Connecticut College with an Arts degree, Shannon started working at a local bakery in her hometown decorating cupcakes and then photographing them for the bakery’s social media page. This is where her love for food photography began.

Shannon loves being able to tell a story through her photos and appreciates food photography as an outlet for her perfectionist, extreme-attention-to-detail personality. No crumb is ever out of place! Shannon is enjoying shooting for local restaurants and small businesses to build her portfolio and continuing to learn in this exciting field.
